Hey there! I'm Christian Monion, a video editor who started editing at 13 as a hobby. After 5 years of experience, I've decided to become a freelancer. Through my school club in 2022-2023, I gained expertise in Radio and TV broadcasting. I even won first place in the technical division that year. 📍 CHIEF VIDEO EDITOR - BALITANG MUNI

- As the Chief Video Editor for Balitang Muni, a news publication in a public school, I had the privilege of collaborating with two journalism clubs to create an episode similar to ABS-CBN. Chosen for this role due to my demonstrated skills and experience, I took on the responsibility with dedication and enthusiasm.

Over the course of 5 months, the journey as Chief Video Editor presented its challenges, but the hard work was undeniably rewarding. Gathering legitimate information and crafting news updates on school events allowed me to gain invaluable experience in the field of media production.

The opportunity to contribute to Balitang Muni and participate in this ABS-CBN-like project has deepened my passion for storytelling through multimedia. This experience has reinforced my commitment to producing professional and engaging content while leaving a positive impact on the school community.

With newfound experiences and cherished memories, I look forward to further opportunities that allow me to leverage my expertise and creativity in the realm of multimedia production.

Pioneer is an English News Publication for students, teachers, faculty members, and parents to be informed on what's currently happening in the school. Working as their Video editor for one year was a great experience for me and quite challenging since I also worked in Balitang Muni as their Chief Video Editor. Overall there were times the schedule was tight but I still managed to pass the Videos that they require me on time since I love editing and being their Video Editor.

- For approximately 2 months, I served as the Technical Specialist in TV Broadcasting at our school. My experience, skills, and dedication made me the most suitable candidate for the role. Working in this capacity was challenging as we lacked the proper equipment needed for delivering high-quality news videos. Despite the difficulties, our team tried our best, although we did not achieve the desired success. Nevertheless, this experience taught me valuable lessons in adaptability and problem solving, and it has strengthened my commitment to excellence in media production. I remain eager to take on new challenges and continue growing both personally and professionally in this field.

Following my adventure in TV broadcasting, I was selected to assume the role of Technical Specialist in Radio Broadcasting. Through my exceptional performance, I secured 1st place in our division in San Juan City, a testament to my proficiency and dedication in the field.

This achievement catapulted me to a regional level contest, further enriching my experience and exposing me to higher levels of competition. The journey has been an enlightening one, reaffirming my commitment to continuous growth and improvement in my craft.

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive skills, I am now driven to enhance my expertise in both Video Editing and Audio Editing. 5 years ago I started my journey to become a Youtuber. Becoming a content creator is still my biggest dream up until now. Since I want people to spread the love and positivity round them through my videos. being a youtuber is quite challenging for me since I believe that I always have to keep up to the latest trend in order for me to succeed on becoming on a YouTuber but then I realized that I should just do what I love and perhaps people will acknowledge me soon. And so I did. Fortunately after doing some youtube reels my video blew up and made me realize that the true definition of success is how you view yourself that you accomplished something. Which is why up until today I am still doing why I love and what I am good of. Which is Video Editing.
