Gem Añonuevo graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Fine Arts Major in Advertising Arts. Since 2020, she has been a freelance graphic designer/video editor. That same year, she became the Head Artist of UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe until her graduation in 2023. She has since diversified her portfolio contributing to projects in events, branding, social media promotion, and film production projects. 

 Most recently, she designed Indak TA[Y]O: Dances of the Philippine Islands, Vol. 2, a book published by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and Philippine Folk Dance Society. The book was launched during the premiere of Tara, Laro TA[Y]O where she served as the graphic artist and video editor for promotions, following her successful contributions to the series in the past two years. 

Currently, she works as a freelance video editor for Studio Who, a company focused on documentary filmmaking. In her spare time, Gem likes to paint, sketch, and crochet pieces that she would give out as gifts for her loved ones.

Gem is a 23-year-old multimedia artist based in the Philippines. As a freelance graphic designer/video editor, she has worked with the Cultural Center of the Philippines, CCP Arts Education Department, Tanghalang Pilipino, and Philippine Folk Dance Society to name a few.
