The Digital Marketer is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the company's website and marketing campaigns to increase conversion rates and drive business growth, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms. The Digital Marketer will be at the forefront of managing, testing, and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel for e-commerce sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Page Selection and Experiment Design: Identify e-commerce pages to test, design experiments, and present proposals to management for approval. Demonstrated experience in optimizing e-commerce pages is highly valued.
2. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze and enhance the e-commerce aspects of the company's website and marketing campaigns to increase conversion rates.
3. Testing Strategies: Develop and execute various testing strategies, with a focus on e-commerce elements such as product pages.
4. SEO Strategy: Create and implement effective SEO strategies tailored to e-commerce, aiming to drive more organic traffic and improve the search engine ranking of product listings.
5. Website Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of e-commerce pages, including traffic, rankings, and sales data.
6. Comprehensive E-commerce Optimization: Conduct on-page and off-page optimization specifically tailored for e-commerce, including technical SEO, keyword research for product listings, content optimization, and e-commerce-specific social media marketing.
7. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce conversion optimization, SEO, and search engine algorithms that are particularly relevant to online retail.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven Track Record: A strong and documented history of improving e-commerce websites' rankings and driving sales through effective SEO strategies and CRO tactics.
2. Strong E-commerce SEO Knowledge: Extensive experience in e-commerce-specific SEO, including content strategy for product descriptions, keyword research for product optimization, and e-commerce SEO best practices.
3. Analytics Proficiency: Expertise with website analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Search Console, with a focus on e-commerce performance metrics, such as conversion rates and sales data.
4. Conversion Rate Optimization: A deep understanding of CRO, with a specialization in e-commerce, including knowledge of effective product page layouts, cart optimization, and improving the checkout process.
5. CRO Best Practices: Familiarity with the latest conversion rate optimization strategies specific to e-commerce websites.
6. Up-to-Date with E-commerce SEO Trends: Stay current with the latest trends and changes in the e-commerce SEO field to adapt strategies for online retail.
7. Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, such as Google Analytics, and provide evidence of successful e-commerce optimization projects.
8. At least 2-3 years of experience in conversion optimization, digital marketing or a related field
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
